Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings is seeking a Maintenance Technician with 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including pipe extrusion. You will perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, welding, and fabrication tasks, and use SAP to manage maintenance work orders and materials.

The role requires standing, lifting up to 40-50 pounds, and working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and moving machinery.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 3 years in Industrial Maintenance or Pipe Extrusion.
• Ability to perform essential duties with minimal supervision.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience welding and fabricating components.
• Knowledge of SAP for work orders, labor tracking, and materials consumption.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment across plant areas and respond to emergency breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Perform lubrication, inspections, replacements, and routine maintenance on motors, pumps, and electrical systems.
• Install and setup extrusion machinery components and perform line changes with supervision.
• Use SAP to generate work orders, track labor and materials.
• Maintain safety standards and clean, organized work areas.
• Assist with capital projects and process improvements as needed.
