Job summary

Carter’s Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for our Braselton/Stockbridge, GA DC. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors and powered equipment, ensure safety standards, and document daily tasks.

The role supports 75% operations and 25% maintenance functions in a dynamic distribution environment. Ideal candidates have basic electrical knowledge, hand-tool proficiency, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to operate routine hand tools and basic electrical knowledge.
• Able to pass equipment and safety certification for shop floors and lifts.
• Team-oriented with customer-service orientation and clear communication.
• Reliable driving record and valid state-issued driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on conveyors and material handling equipment.
• Operate equipment and perform safety checks to ensure OSHA compliance and Carter’s safety rules.
• Schedule and coordinate maintenance with supervision and other shifts.
• Document daily tasks and communicate issues to supervisors and peers.
