Job summary

Carter’s Inc. is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Supervisor to lead our Braselton-based evening/night team in a large, automated distribution center. You’ll oversee maintenance, drive reliability initiatives, and coordinate preventive work across a 1.2 million-square-foot facility to ensure safe, continuous operations.

You will mentor technicians, manage schedules, and partner with Operations to balance priorities, improve equipment performance, and support a fast-paced fulfillment environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering Technology, Industrial Systems, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years maintenance experience in automated distribution or manufacturing.
• 2+ years supervisory or lead experience in a distribution/manufacturing environment.
• Experience with conveyor, sortation, automated material handling, and facility systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the evening/night maintenance and facilities team (4–5 Technicians, 4 Utilities, 4 Custodians).
• Ensure safe, reliable facility operations and minimize downtime through proactive maintenance.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Collaborate with operations and business partners on priorities and equipment status.
• Develop staff, manage timekeeping, scheduling, and performance appraisals.
