Job summary

Carter’s Inc. is seeking an Automation and Controls Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair control systems at our Braselton Distribution Center.

You will support Rockwell/Siemens PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and related electrical components to keep material handling running safely and efficiently. You will collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams, read schematics, interpret drawings, and apply strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, onsite

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years in industrial automation or control systems.
• Experience with Rockwell ControlLogix/CompactLogix or Siemens TIA Portal.
• Hands-on experience with 480V electrical systems and control circuits.
• Familiarity with Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, Modbus, and industrial networking.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Preferred: knowledge of Oracle or SAP Warehouse Management Systems.
• Preferred: TCP/IP networking and Linux/Windows server environments; HMI/SCADA familiarity.
