Oerlikon Group in Westbury, NY is seeking a Maintenance Technician to read blueprints, perform machine maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues. The role supports Machine shop and Assembly with an emphasis on preventive maintenance and tooling development.

Qualifications include a technical degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and 2–4 years of maintenance experience. Knowledge of CNC/manual machines and cobots/robots is a plus.

Qualificações

• Technical degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering required.
• 2-4 years of experience in maintenance roles.
• Able to read blueprints and schematics and perform maintenance.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair.
• Familiar with manual and CNC machines, multi-axis and/or Swiss.

Responsabilidades

• Support Equipment Operations production in Machine shop and Assembly.
• Perform maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Responsible for preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Familiar with mechanical tools, torque wrenches, bearing heaters; voltmeter, balancing and inspection skills.
