Oerlikon is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Westbury, NY facility on the 3rd shift (10:00pm to 6:30am). The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and upgrade of equipment used in our manufacturing process.

You should have a solid background in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems and be comfortable using a DMM, hand tools and shop tools; PLC and welding experience is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years maintenance experience with automated equipment.
• Familiar with electrical controls and mechanical systems.
• Experience reading mechanical and electrical drawings.
• MIG, TIG, and arc welding experience a plus.
• Must have positive attitude and good communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Install and maintain production and processing equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines and facilities.
• Read and interpret manuals and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.
• Keep detailed records in CMMS and manage parts inventory.
• Follow SOPs and safety rules.
