Job summary

Clemens Food Group is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to perform general repairs and upkeep at our Hatfield manufacturing facility. The role emphasizes safety, dependability, and hands-on problem solving with a 4-day workweek and weekend battery changing duties.

The ideal candidate will have basic mechanical skills, read a tape measure, and be comfortable using hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow maintenance instructions.
• Experience in general maintenance, construction, mechanical repairs, or related hands-on field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building and facility maintenance and repairs.
• Repair doors, hardware, garage doors, and mechanical components.
• Assist with concrete, epoxy flooring, and driveway repairs.
• Troubleshoot and maintain drive chains, belts, and drainage components.
• Serve as the primary battery changer on weekends, safely changing equipment batteries to keep operations running.
• Use hand and power tools to complete maintenance assignments.
• Respond to facility repair needs while following safety procedures.
