Job summary

Case and Associates Properties Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician to prepare apartments for new residents and assist the Lead Maintenance Technician with duties across the property in Oklahoma City.

The role covers light repairs, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and pool area maintenance, with on-site responsibilities and on-call rotation. You will inspect and repair units, communicate effectively with residents and vendors, and help manage supplies and safety tasks.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Six months related maintenance experience.
• Reading, speaking and understanding English for business purposes.
• Ability to read/write instructions and communicate professionally with residents, coworkers and vendors.
• Available for on-call.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Completing light maintenance repairs to prepare apartments for new residents.
• Completing maintenance requests on occupied apartments including plumbing repairs, major appliance repairs, interior/exterior carpentry, painting and roof repairs.
• Performing maintenance in leasing office, clubhouse, laundry rooms, models, pool areas and property fences.
• Maintaining pool and Jacuzzi areas including chemical checks, cleaning and repairs.
• Assessing extraordinary maintenance needs such as guttering, parking lot repairs and lighting/fence repairs.
• Depositing ice-melt and shoveling snow during inclement weather.
• Ordering maintenance materials and supplies with approval of the Property Manager.
• Relaying or repairing carpeting.
• Assuming Lead Maintenance Technician responsibilities when necessary.
• Completing all job-related tasks assigned by Property Manager or Property Supervisor.
