Central Bethany, a full-service real estate development and property management company near Beaverton, seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician for the Facilities team. You will perform a wide range of repairs—drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC—and respond to on-call emergencies on a rotating weekly schedule.

The role requires 3–5 years of maintenance experience (residential) or 1–2 years (commercial), a valid driver’s license, and ability to lift 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Valid, current driver’s license.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, walk, climb stairs, ladders and lift 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks, work orders and repairs across Central Bethany's commercial properties.
• Proactively address potential issues before they impact operations or tenant experience.
• Maintain punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
• Communicate effectively with clients, coworkers and management under pressure.
• Repair and troubleshoot mechanical faults quickly and provide high-quality solutions.
• Collaborate with suppliers, contractors and service providers while upholding quality standards.
• Provide updates to Property Management on repair timelines and budgets.
• Maintain facilities and grounds including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC and appliance repairs.

Central Bethany, an established and growing real estate development and property management company just north of the Beaverton-Hillsboro area, seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the Facilities team! The successful candidate will effectively perform commercial facility repairs and ensure general upkeep such as drywall repair, painting, light plumbing, electrical and appliance repair, as well as rekeying locks, light HVAC, and other necessary maintenance duties.Schedule: Sunday- Thursday 11:00am - 7:30pm. Performs on-call emergency service as required. On-call duty is shared among team members on a rotating weekly schedule, including evenings and weekends.Pay: $27.50-$28.50 per hourShift: Full-timeA driver’s license is required.Main Responsibilities:Completes variety of maintenance tasks, work orders and repairs throughout Central Bethany’s commercial properties.Proactively address potential issues before they impact operations or the tenant experience.Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.Works collaboratively in a team environment or independently as needed.Displays excellent communication including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure.Quickly repair and troubleshoot mechanical faults with high-quality solutionsCollaborate with suppliers, local contractors, and specialty service providers while upholding the highest quality standards.Provide regular updates to Property Management on repair timelines, budget usage, or emerging maintenance needsPerform a variety of maintenance and repair work independently as instructed or assist other skilled trade personnel to maintain facilities and grounds in proper condition. This includes plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and appliance repairs.QualificationsValid, current driver’s license requiredMaintenance Experience – 3-5 years in residential/and or 1-2 years in commercial.Demonstrates professional demeanor and appearanceAbility to stand, bend, kneel, walk, climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds to inspect above ground level units.Physically able to lift/move 70 lbs. frequently and Team Lift more occasionally.Self-Directed with minimal supervisionAbility to adapt to changeProficient in using computer software and mobile applications to manage work orders and track preventive maintenance schedules.Able to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints accuratelyLanguage RequirementAll team members must have the basic ability to use computer/smart phone applications for training and company system purposes. Employees must also be able to comprehend written documents such as work orders, safety rules, instructions, policies, and procedures.
