Job summary

Central Bethany is seeking a dedicated Landscape Assistant to support our facilities team in Bethany Village, Portland, OR. The role requires hands-on landscaping experience and a strong work ethic to maintain plantings, lawns, and common areas.

You will operate standard grounds equipment and assist with trimming, pruning, and seasonal maintenance. The position runs Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, with competitive hourly pay and benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in planting, composting, weeding, and mowing.
• Ability to operate leaf blowers, mowers, and power equipment safely.
• Basic computer/smartphone skills for training and communications.

Responsibilities

• Perform planting, composting, weeding, mowing and blowing of leaves and grass.
• Pick up loose mail, trash, debris and dispose of it appropriately.
• Trim and prune hedges as well as perform edging tasks.
• Operate leaf blower, pressure washer, lawn mower, and other equipment as needed.
