Job summary

Goldmark Property Management Inc is seeking a Maintenance Technician 2 to repair, maintain and improve property units and common areas, ensuring timely responses to resident requests and upholding safety standards.

The role involves hands-on maintenance across heating, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC, with emphasis on keeping units ready for new residents within 24–72 hours and delivering excellent customer service on site.

Qualifications

• High School degree, GED or equivalent.
• Equivalent education with one to two years’ related experience and/or training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle, vehicle insurance and clean driving record for past 3 years.
• Proficiency of the English language in reading, writing and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned service requests related to repairs and upkeep of properties, including heating, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, flooring, HVAC and other general repairs.
• Prepare open apartments for rental within 24 to 72 hours, coordinating the work of other staff or vendors.
• Participate in ongoing training to build and maintain knowledge and skills to excel in the role.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with residents by addressing requests and concerns, referring to manager as appropriate.
• Complete and document daily building inspections with focus on proactive maintenance.
