Job summary

Goldmark Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician 2 to join our Premier Property Management Team. Therole focuses on delivering reliable, timely, and safe repairs to keep residents satisfied, maintaining high standards of service and professional conduct.

The position offers starting pay of $21 per hour (experience-based increases) with incentives up to $5.21 more per hour, tools provided, and a company cell phone, uniform and vehicle allowance. Rent discounts may apply.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required/preferred.
• One to two years of related maintenance experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English reading, writing and verbal communication.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record in past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned service requests related to repairs and upkeep of properties, including heating, plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, flooring, HVAC and other general repairs.
• Prepare open apartments for rental within 24 to 72 hours, coordinating work of others as needed.
• Participate in ongoing training to build knowledge and skills for the role.
• Build and maintain relationships with residents by addressing requests and concerns.
• Complete daily building inspections with focus on proactive maintenance.
• Maintain attractive appearance of buildings and grounds and report maintenance needs.
