The Judge Group is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Technician for a meat processing facility in Royston, GA. You will help ensure that conveyors, grinders, slicers, and packaging machines operate safely and efficiently during overnight production.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable in a cold, fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 2+ years in industrial maintenance and PLC/electrical troubleshooting preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or trade school preferred.
• At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience (food or meat processing preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with PLCs, motors, gearboxes, and industrial systems is a plus.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Comfortable working in cold, wet, and fast-paced environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of processing equipment such as conveyors, grinders, slicers, and packaging machines.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and maintain equipment performance.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production issues during the shift.
• Maintain and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Complete maintenance logs, work orders, and required documentation accurately.
• Follow all safety, food safety (USDA/FDA), and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with equipment installation, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
• Collaborate with production staff to support operational goals.

One of our clients is currently seeking a maintenance tech. They are seeking a reliable and skilled Night Shift Maintenance Technician to support our meat processing facility.
