Job summary

QuickStaff is seeking a maintenance technician for a food manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania. The role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing production equipment, performing Preventative and Predictive maintenance, and maintaining HVAC and utility systems.

The position requires a strong technical background in industrial maintenance, with GMP/HACCP knowledge preferred. Requires CMMS documentation and teamwork with production and quality teams in a climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of maintenance experience; food industry preferred.
• Mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, PLCs and pneumatics required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical manuals required.
• GMP, HACCP and food safety standards preferred.
• Trade school certification or technical training is a bonus.
• Work independently and in a team, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment including injection presses, conveyors, mixers, and packaging machines.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Maintain repair HVAC, chillers, dryers and compressed air systems.
• Support sanitation and food safety compliance.
• Document maintenance activities using CMMS software.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure equipment meets standards.
• Follow up on maintenance tasks for resolution with internal customers.

$20 to $41 hourly BOE. WEEKEND SHIFT Fri-Sun 5:15AM to 5:45PM.

Food manufacturing facility, committed to quality, safety and operational excellence.

Perform basic and advanced maintenance tasks including mechanical, electrical and utility systems. Strong technical background in industrial maintenance, specifically and preferred within food processing environments.
