Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance and electrical experience, PLC and food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Two years industrial maintenance experience or five years with Monogram experience preferred.
• Strong electrical and mechanical experience; Journeyman license preferred.
• Ability to read schematics/blueprints and use meters/test equipment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills; able to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Test and troubleshoot various meat processing equipment and machinery.
• Perform building and facility maintenance as needed.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedules for processing equipment.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures during work.
• Keep work area clean and organized; adhere to GMP/HAACP procedures.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by supervision.

Ideal Candidates Will Have The Following Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required. Associate’s degree in a technical field is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance and electrical experience, PLC and food
• manufacturing industry experience is preferred
• preferred two years industrial maint experience or five years’ experience with monogram
• Strong electrical, mechanical experience, electrical Journeyman's license preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment and a diverse workforce
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Able to lift 50 lbs. or more, climb a ladder and stand for extended periods of time
• Must be flexible and able to work overtime and weekends when required
