Job summary

Publix Super Markets, Inc. is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to lead internal and external labor productivity and to assist in implementing safety plans across operations in Georgia.

You will support development of associates and manage repair of facility equipment, leveraging SAP for new operations and process configurations. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, strong communication, independent work habits,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
• Knowledge of maintenance practices and ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatics for all equipment and systems.
• Ability to solve problems and troubleshoot.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Ability to teach others using manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Ability to analyze information and data.
• Interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Knowledge of power and electrical systems and controls.
• Knowledge of maintenance management systems.
• Knowledge of manufacturing plant or distribution warehousing facilities.
• Knowledge of safety pertaining to construction and maintenance.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations for food manufacturing facilities.
• Knowledge of computer electronics, ladder logic, and electrical control systems, including PLCs and high voltage equipment.
