Job summary

Publix Super Markets in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Maintenance/Facilities Specialist to lead productivity in the absence of the Manager, assist with safety programs, and support associate development. You will configure SAP for new equipment and processes, and repair facility systems to maintain operations.

Ideal candidates have a strong maintenance background with PLC and electrical knowledge, plus experience in food manufacturing facilities is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years in industrial maintenance environment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatics.
• Strong problem solving and time management.
• Ability to teach manuals, blueprints and training material.

Responsibilities

• Lead productivity of labor resources when Manager is absent.
• Assist Safety Plan execution and safety activities.
• Assist in associate development.
• Configure SAP for new operations, equipment, or processes.
• Repair and maintain facility equipment.
