Job summary

Publix Dacula Fresh Kitchen is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair a wide range of equipment in a fast-paced food production environment.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, fabricate components, and perform welding to improve safety and efficiency. The role requires teamwork, problem-solving, and willingness to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining electro-mechanical systems and process equipment.
• Willingness to take a mechanical aptitude test as needed.
• Ability to read schematics/blueprints and work with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve equipment and facilities at the Fresh Kitchen using preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Fabricate components to improve safety and performance.
• Perform welding and assist with plant repairs and housekeeping.
• Train team members and support shift operations.
