Job summary

Weir is seeking a maintenance and reliability professional in Newton, MS to plan, coordinate, and execute large maintenance work with cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and continuous improvement.

You will drive root-cause analyses, perform troubleshooting, and lead Kaizen initiatives while collaborating across departments and managing contractors onsite. A strong background in SAP/Oracle and EAM software is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a technical or project role.
• Proficiency with SAP, Oracle and EAM software.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience leading maintenance reliability projects and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of RCA, PDCA and Kaizen methodologies.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, file management and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Planning & Coordination with maintenance, planning, storeroom and operations teams to schedule large maintenance work.
• Create detailed job instructions including preventive maintenance and repair procedures.
• Coordinate and manage contractors onsite ensuring safety and quality.
• Lead reliability projects including asset criticality, RCA, and predictive maintenance initiatives.
• Train leaders and technicians in problem-solving techniques and PDCA.
• Analyze equipment failures and lead corrective actions; support Kaizen events and reports.
• Navigate CMMS, EAM systems, SAP, Oracle, SharePoint for planning and documentation.
• Travel minimal; primarily onsite with occasional visits.
