Job summary

Billingsley seeks an Assistant Service Manager to support the Service Manager by overseeing maintenance across our communities. This role blends hands-on technical work with leadership to ensure timely repairs, make-readies, and preventative maintenance that uphold safety and quality standards.

You will supervise technicians, schedule unit turns, manage vendors, review bids, and maintain compliance and safety using Yardi, Outlook, Excel, Payscan, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in multifamily or facilities maintenance.
• Experience supervising or leading technicians is preferred.
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification, CPO, MPO as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations to keep properties safe, functional, and well-maintained.
• Coordinate unit turns and preventative maintenance to meet occupancy timelines.
• Lead maintenance staff and coordinate with Property Managers and Portfolio Managers.
• Manage work orders, bids, and vendor communications per company policy.
