Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in manufacturing and/or engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management level role is preferred.
• Experience in a regulated industry (Medical Device) is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities including integrity, innovation and strong communication.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, data analysis software).

Responsibilities

• Delegates and supervises work performed by staff.
• Establishes and manages work schedules; develops maintenance plans to meet system demands.
• Supervises, mentors and coaches staff including technicians and reliability engineers.
• Implements performance improvement plans as needed.
• Manages departmental budget and controls costs.
• Obtains and evaluates bids from vendors.
• Ensures quality and safety of work and timely completion of contracts.
• Communicates health, safety and environmental guidelines to staff.
• Interacts with other departments to support production goals.
• Supports production with ongoing monitoring and reporting.
