Job summary

DePuy Synthes in Warsaw, IN is seeking a Maintenance Team Lead to supervise maintenance staff, develop schedules, and ensure reliable equipment performance in a fast-paced, regulated medical device environment.

You will mentor technicians, manage budgets, review bids, and drive safety and quality initiatives while supporting production shifts. A Bachelor's degree plus 6+ years in manufacturing/engineering and 2+ years in management are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 6 years of manufacturing and/or engineering experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a management role is preferred.
• Experience in a regulated industry (Medical Device) is preferred.
• Strong leadership: confidence, transparency, integrity, innovation, passion.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Strong computer skills: MS Office, Minitab, and databases.
• Strong organizational and project management skills; results oriented.

Responsibilities

• Delegates and supervises work performed by staff.
• Establishes and manages work schedules.
• Develops plans for maintenance activity execution to meet system demands and business objectives.
• Supervises, mentors, develops, evaluates, and coaches staff.
• Implements performance improvement plans as needed.
• Provides input to and manages departmental budget.
• Reviews expenses and implements cost controls to ensure budget is not exceeded.
• Obtains and evaluates bids from vendors.
• Oversees quality and safety of work and timely completion of assigned contract.
• Interprets company policies to staff and enforces safety regulation.
• Monitors production and prepares reports for management.
