Job summary

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) seeks a proficient Program Specialist to support the statewide Maintenance Management System (MMS), Agile Assets, and LaGov. The role emphasizes data accuracy, system process management, and policy development to improve maintenance standards across the state.

Responsibilities include training personnel on Agile Assets, overseeing daily operations, and collaborating with leadership to enhance system functionality, including LOS

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in the development, implementation, or administration of a transportation or safety program; OR
• Six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR
• A bachelor's degree.
• Experience substitution: every 30 semester hours earned counts as one year of experience, up to four years.

Responsibilities

• Manage Daily Agile Assets Operations: oversee system activity, review work orders, communicate updates, and ensure statewide reporting.
• Provide Training and Technical Support: assist personnel with Agile Assets use, identify training needs, develop plans, and conduct sessions.
• Support Policy and Procedure Development: collaborate with DOTD leadership to update maintenance policies and MMS standards.
• Maintain and Enhance System Functionality: support Mobile Work Manager app, test updates, and ensure LOS data accuracy.
