Job summary

Dairy Challenge is seeking a Maintenance Systems Coordinator for our Cabool, MO retort plant producing dairy-based beverages. You will coordinate work orders, manage parts and supply purchasing, and schedule both planned and emergency maintenance to keep plant performance reliable.

Responsibilities include maintaining preventive maintenance programs, overseeing MRO inventory, and coordinating with production teams and contractors to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–5 years in maintenance planning, scheduling, or related roles.
• Mechanical experience with high-speed bottling, canning, packaging and EVAP equipment is highly desired.
• Knowledge of boilers, chillers, and HVAC systems is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office and SAP CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support daily plant maintenance operations and projects.
• Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
• Manage onsite maintenance, repair, and operations inventory (MRO).
• Coordinate material requests, suppliers, and project timelines.
• Review parts quality, cost, and availability for planning.
• Determine work order planning status and CMMS data accuracy.
• Assess workforce needs and schedule maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with supervisors, contractors, and other departments.
