Job summary

BENTELER Group in Shreveport, LA, is seeking a Maintenance Professional to lead the development and execution of preventive maintenance and 5S/Lean programs for water systems. You will coordinate with SAP for repairs, parts, and scheduling to ensure equipment efficiency across utilities such as hydraulics, pneumatics, and piping.

The role requires a high school diploma or technical degree, 2+ years of maintenance experience, and prior supervisory background.

Qualifications

• High School, GED or equivalent certificate.
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in a technical field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in maintenance activities.
• Previous supervisory experience within a maintenance organization.
• Experience with SAP maintenance module, purchase orders, inventory control, scheduling, reporting.
• Basic SAP & general computer knowledge.
• Detail oriented with proven problem identification and resolution skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with supervisors, coworkers and management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the development and implementation of work procedures, PM's and LOTO.
• Participate in plant 5S and Lean manufacturing programs as well as any and all continuous improvement activities in the water systems department.
• Ensure preventative maintenance measures are being followed within water systems.
• Manage team to perform maintenance on utilities within water systems to assure equipment efficiency.
• Oversee Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Water, Compressed Air, Piping, etc...
• Be an active participant of developing and maintaining a culture of professionalism.
• Responsible for following all rules, policies, or expectations.
• Coordinate effective repairs and maintenance on equipment utilizing SAP.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
