Job summary

BENTELER Automotive Corporation is hiring a Maintenance/Planned-Occasional Technician in Louisiana to support safety-driven procedures, PMs and Lean initiatives. You will assist in procedures, participate in outages, and contribute to a culture of professionalism while performing related duties.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong safety awareness, and experience in pipe mill environments, with SAP and MS Office proficiency preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Seamless Pipe Mill experience a huge plus.
• Strong safety awareness and experience.
• Demonstrated capability of results through people, technology and process.
• Welding skills: Stick welding – all positions (7018, 6010, 308, 309, 316ss).
• Equipment removal and installation; In-house equipment rebuilds.
• SAP & general computer knowledge preferred.
• MS Office proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of work procedures, PMs and LOTO.
• Participate in setting up down days, outages and special projects.
• Participate in 5S and Lean manufacturing programs and continuous improvement activities.
• Attend Root Cause Analysis meetings to resolve process issues.
• Participate in safety activities to meet goals and expectations.
• Support a culture of professionalism and compliance with rules.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
