Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Pontiac, MI to lead a team of skilled tradesmen and coordinate with OEM service providers for proactive maintenance and continuous improvement. This hands-on role emphasizes safety, uptime, and cost efficiency within a represented labor environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial maintenance with supervisory experience, strong HVAC/electrical knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on maintenance in an industrial facility environment.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a represented worker environment with knowledge of collective bargaining.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems including HVAC, motor and pump systems, piping, electrical, and general building repair.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills across audiences.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with demonstrated progression in maintenance and leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Mechanical and Electrical Tradesmen within the JLL/UAW Collective Bargaining Agreement framework.
• Manage vendor relationships with OEM and outside service providers ensuring MOC and SCM compliance.
• Oversee work order management through Corrigo and Maximo, prioritizing preventive maintenance and repairs to meet KPIs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical control systems on critical lab equipment with hands-on support.
• Deliver fast response reporting for customer disruptions and coordinate weekend/holiday shutdown planning.
• Support GMS and BPD processes while driving TPM metrics and operational excellence.
• Lead safety initiatives including pre-task safety planning and incident reporting to maintain zero injuries.
