South32 Group Operations Pty. Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead frontline maintenance for the Hermosa Project near Patagonia, Arizona.

You will ensure safe execution of maintenance plans, manage a team of technicians, and drive reliability through planning, coordination and continuous improvement. Working with Operations, Planning and Maintenance teams, you will oversee daily, weekly and monthly activities, enforce safety standards and OEM requirements, and deliver sustainable

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Five years of maintenance experience in an industrial/mining/ heavy equipment environment.
• Two or more years in a Supervisor or Lead role.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of SAP; experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MSHA regulations and safety requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate work across multiple stakeholders and priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture in all maintenance activities.
• Lead the safe and efficient execution of planned maintenance for fixed plant and mobile equipment.
• Integrate weekly and monthly maintenance plans into daily shift plans.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Planners to optimize schedules and minimize impacts.
• Provide feedback and documentation to support planning improvements.
• Monitor work in progress and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and development for maintenance personnel.
• Set clear performance expectations and uphold safety, quality, productivity and equipment care.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support training initiatives.
• Address performance concerns and HR-related matters with site leadership.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing work environment.
