Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Elizabeth, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the troubleshooting, repair, and installation of refrigeration, HVAC, and related systems, ensuring safety and quality while keeping production flowing. This role requires strong leadership and hands-on maintenance expertise within a warehouse/production setting.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of maintenance experience in foodservice environments and prior supervisory responsibilities, with

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
3–5 years of maintenance experience in warehouse or production environments.
Experience in foodservice industry maintenance preferred.
Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee staff staffing, training, coaching, performance management, and issue resolution.
Guide maintenance crew to meet safety regulations, quality standards, and budget.
Coordinate maintenance work and provide trainee training; cover breaks as needed.
Perform troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and installations of refrigeration and HVAC systems.
Maintain, repair and install facilities, buildings, and grounds per schedule and in emergencies.
Complete reports and paperwork; keep maintenance area clean; ensure equipment security.
Perform other duties as assigned and ensure compliance with policies.
