Job summary

JR1238TRG Management in Miami, FL is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all maintenance operations at the community, supervise staff, coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance, manage vendors, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

You will respond to emergencies, assist with budget monitoring, maintain records, and help deliver high-quality apartment turns while delivering excellent resident service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of apartment maintenance, including supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
• EPA Certification preferred or required depending on property.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and work orders.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with property management and work order systems.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead maintenance staff, including scheduling and performance management.
• Coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance programs for building systems.
• Inspect grounds, common areas, and vacant units for safety and appearance.
• Manage vendor relationships, bids, and outside contractors.
• Respond to emergency maintenance, including after-hours calls.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and assist with budget monitoring.
