Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for The Colwick in Charlotte, NC. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, and manage the make-ready process for move-ins while upholding Greystar standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Responsibilities include coordinating with vendors, inspecting work, and supporting budget planning; candidates should have HVAC certs, own tools, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in a support capacity.
• Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; PMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep.
• Oversee and complete the make-ready process for vacant homes and inspections.
• Develop standards for grounds, exteriors, interiors, signage, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Periodically inspect work by team members and contractors for quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools; assist in budgeting for maintenance.
