Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for The Colwick in Charlotte, NC. You will oversee and perform technical and mechanical work to keep the community clean, safe, and functional, while coordinating make-ready efforts for new move-ins and managing vendors and inventories.

The role requires HVAC and maintenance experience, tool use proficiency, and strong customer service skills to support residents and operations. This is a full-time on-site position with Greystar benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency in internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders from residents and routine community upkeep.
• Oversees make-ready process for vacant units and schedules vendors as needed.
• Maintains grounds, exteriors, and common areas to Greystar standards.
• Inspects work by service teams and contractors for quality and compliance.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and tools and supports budget goals.
• Performs monthly preventative maintenance and supports safety programs.
