Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for Fisher House in Arlington, VA. The role leads daily maintenance operations, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance while managing a on-site team.

The position requires carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance skills, plus experience with service requests, budgeting, and on-call coordination. Competitive benefits accompany a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional on-call rotation.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
3+ years in property management or related field preferred.
General maintenance and carpentry skills required.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations and upkeep of assigned property.
Ensure compliance with Avenue5 policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
Manage service requests, track progress, and maintain safety and cleanliness standards.
Perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and grounds maintenance tasks as needed.
Manage on-call rotation and respond promptly to emergencies and incidents.
Conduct pre- and post-move inspections and ensure timely unit turns.
Monitor maintenance costs to stay within budget and mentor maintenance staff.
