Job summary

Housing-Development-Corporation (HDC) is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the physical integrity of properties and deliver high-quality maintenance services.

The role requires extensive knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and electrical systems, with a focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and responsive resident service. You will lead a small team, manage work orders, and coordinate with management to keep properties in top condition.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience or training in building maintenance or construction.
• HVAC/EPA Certification; Universal preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical repairs, and appliances.
• Ability to read shop drawings, specs and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming work orders to prioritize repairs.
• Decide whether to repair or replace damaged property.
• Estimate time and materials for repairs.
• Coordinate with property management to ensure inventory and supplies.
• Ensure units are ready for inspections and UPCS-compliant.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance reports and logs.
• Respond to after-hours and weekend emergencies per policy.
