Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Maintenance Manager to provide leadership for service and maintenance staff, ensuring safe maintenance, repair or replacement of mill assets and driving continuous improvement for efficient, high-quality production.

The role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and a track record of improving maintenance reliability and performance within a paper/mill setting.

Qualifications

• Required: 10-15 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Preferred: 5+ years in maintenance management.
• 2-year technical degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership on maintenance operations to maximize production.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term maintenance strategy for operating efficiency.
• Create maintenance department safety goals and plan to ensure a safe work environment.
• Lead maintenance staff and ensure best practices, reliability and uptime.
