Madison Communities in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our on-site maintenance team and ensure high standards of resident comfort. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, supervise a crew, and manage schedules and safety compliance.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, budget oversight, and collaboration with management to deliver reliable, quality service on our garden-style properties in the Southeast.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and construction.
• Strong supervisory experience and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication and resident-focused customer service.
• EPA Certification and CPO certification required.

• Manage all aspects of property maintenance including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Plan and oversee the maintenance budget within financial guidelines.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of property maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Plan and oversee the maintenance budget, ensuring operations stay within financial guidelines.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe shop areas, with adequate levels of replacement parts and tools.
• Recruit, train, and supervise a skilled maintenance team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
• Collaborate with property management to ensure the smooth operation of maintenance activities.
• Respond quickly to emergency maintenance needs to minimize disruptions for residents.
• Lead by example to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

What You'll Bring:

• Proven experience in plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and construction.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve challenges.
• EPA Certification and Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification (required).
• Strong supervisory experience, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a resident-focused mindset.
