Job summary

Bigos Management is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for Willow Pond in Burnsville, MN. You will supervise onsite maintenance technicians, ensure timely work, delegate tasks, and maintain safety standards, with required pool and EPA certifications.

Must maintain professional relations with residents and vendors. You will coordinate with the Zone Building Engineer, manage preventative maintenance, handle parts inventory, and respond to on-call emergencies within 30 minutes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in a residential apartment setting or equivalent
• Requires a Certified Pool Operators License (within 6 months of hire)
• Requires a Type II EPA Refrigerant Certification (within 6 months of hire)
• Requires a Special Boiler’s License (within 6 months of hire)
• 1-2 years’ experience working as a maintenance supervisor or other leadership position preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the maintenance and grounds team assigned to site.
• Delegate work responsibilities between the maintenance team and ensure work is done accurately and in a timely matter.
• Provide technical advice and guidance to maintenance team.
• Monitor and maintain all building systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Boilers etc.).
• Coordinate major site repairs with the Zone Building Engineer and Maintenance Technician I.
• Order and maintain inventory of hand tools, parts and supplies.
• Respond to high-priority issues and on-call emergencies within 30 minutes.
