Bigos Management in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to work with onsite Maintenance Technicians, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks. The role may assign duties to Groundskeepers and requires Pool Operator and EPA certifications; boiler license may be required depending on site.

The position emphasizes team development, on-call rotation with 30-minute response, safety compliance, and strong communication with the Property Manager, vendors, and residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in a residential apartment setting or equivalent.
• Requires a Certified Pool Operators License (within 6 months of hire).
• Requires a Type II EPA Refrigerant Certification (within 6 months of hire).
• Requires a Special Boiler’s License (within 6 months of hire).
• 1-2 years’ experience working as a maintenance supervisor or other leadership position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the maintenance and grounds staff on site.
• Delegate work to ensure timely completion of tasks and complete work orders.
• Provide technical guidance to the maintenance team.
• Monitor HVAC, plumbing, boilers and site systems, with preventative maintenance.
• Coordinate with Zone Building Engineer for repairs, remodels or projects.
• Collaborate with vendors on bids and scheduling.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies for the workshop.
• Respond to on-call emergencies within 30 minutes.
• Ensure safety training and compliance across the team.
• Maintain positive relations with residents and vendors.
