Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance team and ensure upkeep and repairs for the property. The role includes scheduling daily tasks, assisting with hiring, and training staff in service, custodial, and grounds.

You will also manage vendor work, maintain safety compliance, and respond to emergencies with a 24-hour on-call requirement. A strong background in facilities maintenance is essential.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical knowledge required.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and schedule daily maintenance tasks for occupied units.
• Assist with interviewing and screening service, housekeeping/custodial or grounds personnel with the manager.
• Assist in training of all service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel.
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure OSHA standards and company safety policies are followed.
• Respond to 24-hour service requests and evictions lock-outs.
• Be on-call to handle incidents as needed.
• Schedule and assist in supervision of vendor work.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and delivery of supplies for service, custodial, and grounds.
