Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance team, perform and schedule daily tasks, and ensure safe, efficient operation of the property’s buildings and grounds. The role includes interviewing and supervising maintenance staff, coordinating vendor work, maintaining supplies and equipment, and ensuring OSHA safety policy compliance.

Full-time position with hourly compensation of $29.00–$31.00.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate various hand and power tools.
• Maintain positive relationships with internal/external contacts.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and schedule daily maintenance tasks including preparing vacant units for occupancy and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with interviewing, screening, and recommending for service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel.
• Assist in training of service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel.
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Initiate process improvements in maintenance methods.
• Maintain MSDS sheets and replacement logs.
• Supervise vendor work and inventory/supply management.
• Ensure OSHA standards and safety policies are followed; respond to service requests on a 24-hour basis.
