Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team at a Los Angeles property. You will oversee daily tasks, ensure up-time, and coordinate vendor work to keep buildings and grounds in top condition.

The role requires knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, strong supervision skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools.
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance tasks and preventative maintenance.
• Interview, screen and recommend staff in conjunction with the manager.
• Train and supervise service, housekeeping, and grounds personnel.
• Ensure OSHA safety standards and company policies are followed.
• Manage inventory and ordering of supplies.
• Respond to 24-hour service requests and on-call duties.
• Schedule vendor work and supervise repairs.
