Job summary

Ultium Cells LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a skilled team in our Warren, OH plant. You’ll manage maintenance activities to keep production running, diagnose problems, and supervise projects while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, mentoring staff, enforcing SOPs, and maintaining maintenance records. Strong communication and urgency are essential in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Industrial Maintenance Journeyman’s certificate or equivalent preferred.
• Understanding of Production and Processing equipment.
• 0 to 3 Years Industrial Maintenance Experience preferred.
• Direct, coordinate, lead and mentor the activities of team members.
• Plan, establish and assign work schedules, assignments, and work orders to ensure department goals are met.
• Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs for facility equipment.
• Enforce safety and other applicable rules and regulations.
• Document and follow up on SOPs.
• Maintain related records, logs, and paperwork.
• Ensuring all team members are utilizing time effectively.
• Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Observe work and monitor completion of tasks and work orders.
• Confer with management, peers and others to resolve team member’s problems, complaints, or grievances.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures, specifications, blueprints, and job orders for team members.
• Coordinate Work Orders, Production, Vendors & Contractors.
• Lead and foster a culture that values innovation, ownership and Ultium Cells values.
• Strong motivation and a level of urgency in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage a medium sized group of employees in a skilled area of work.
• Keep production running by ensuring machines are fixed quickly.
• Assist in diagnosing equipment malfunctions.
• Supervise construction and maintenance projects.
• Use personnel, materials and equipment effectively.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of production equipment and controls.
• Coordinate with production for preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Prepare and manage preventive maintenance schedules.
• Maintain safety and safe work environment per requirements.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance documents; daily reports and check sheets.
• Handle other maintenance and repair tasks as assigned.
