Job summary

Ultium Cells LLC is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for the night shift to lead a medium-sized team in a high-technology battery cell plant. You will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinate with production, and drive safety and efficiency across the maintenance function.

The role emphasizes coaching, timely repairs, and strong collaboration with internal departments to ensure equipment reliability and continuous production.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Industrial Maintenance Journeyman’s certificate or equivalent preferred.
• Understanding of Production and Processing equipment.
• 0 to 3 Years Industrial Maintenance Experience preferred.
• Lead and mentor team members; plan work schedules and assign tasks.
• Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs for facility equipment.
• Enforce safety rules and coordinate with other departments to meet safety, quality, and cost demands.

Responsibilities

• Manage a medium-sized group of maintenance staff.
• Fix machines quickly to keep production running.
• Assist in diagnosing equipment malfunctions.
• Supervise construction and maintenance projects.
• Coordinate use of personnel, materials and equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Maintain maintenance-related documents and reports.
• Ensure safe work practices and environment.
