Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in complex mechanical assembly and manufacturing equipment.
• 1-3 Years Industrial or Manufacturing Leadership - Supervisory Experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong understanding of quality processes and implementation methods
• Knowledge of electricity, electrical products, raw materials, production processes, automated equipment, manufacturing cost reduction, and other techniques for maximizing the manufacturing efficiency and distribution of goods.
• Minimum +3 years’ Industrial experience- supervisory experience required
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance for plant safety and environmental regulations.
• Support Team Members and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production or processing of goods.
• Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs.
• Collaborate with other leaders to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
• Support and train team to Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Support employee training through demonstrating equipment operations, safety procedures and quality expectations
• Support and facilitate team-based problem solving
• Observe key performance indicators of work area; monitor gauges, dials, and equipment performance other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards
• Confer with leadership and team to resolve work force concerns and to employee engagement
• Interpret specifications, part and assembly drawings, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers
• Additional duties as assigned
