Job summary

Ultium Cells LLC in Warren, OH seeks an Equipment Technology Engineer for the Electrode Department in a highly automated battery manufacturing environment. On-site role focusing on continuous improvement, equipment modification, root-cause analysis, and solving complex production problems.

You will work with production, process, maintenance teams and external vendors, ensuring high yield, uptime and safety compliance, with on-call rotations as needed. Bachelor's degree in engineering required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering required; engineering technology acceptable.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills essential.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and continuous improvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous process enhancements in electrode equipment.
• Troubleshoot chronic errors and perform root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with production, process, and maintenance teams.
• Ensure equipment uptime and safe operation.
• Read charts and production reports to assess outputs.
• Support safety and environmental compliance.
