Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Suisun City, CA to oversee maintenance staff and ensure quality service for residents. You will manage work orders, supervise vendors, and uphold safety and code compliance while coordinating with the Community Manager.

The role requires strong multi-tasking, hands-on maintenance expertise (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry), and a customer-focused approach to enhance resident satisfaction and curb appeal.

Qualifications

• 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical, and carpentry.
• HVAC and CPO certifications are highly desired.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Very strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Must be available for on-call and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates excellent resident relations and customer service by addressing requests promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate, schedule, and respond to resident/management requests and work orders.
• Inspect grounds, buildings and common areas daily to identify hazards and maintenance needs.
• Manage and order maintenance supplies within budget guidelines.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program to extend asset life and reduce repairs.
