Job Description Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor provides maintenance support and is accountable for delivering on our commitments to our residents. This includes quality move-in, resident satisfaction, quality and timely service, and personal attention to our residents. The Maintenance Supervisor responds to resident service requests and helps Cushman & Wakefield deliver superior customer service.

Essential Job Duties

• Prepares all market-ready apartments, including painting, carpet cleaning/repair, general repairs, and housekeeping to ensure quality.
• Completes resident service requests promptly.
• Possesses knowledge of maintenance functions such as plumbing, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, electrical work, painting, caulking, snow removal, scheduling, and life safety issues.
• Maintains grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog parks, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
• Performs on-call emergency procedures as required.
• Reports maintenance issues affecting budget, safety, property damages, and common areas to management.
• Schedules and performs preventative maintenance, recording activities accordingly.
• Follows state, local, and federal housing laws, codes, policies, and systems related to maintenance.
• Attends and participates in required training programs.
• Provides superior customer service and maintains a professional manner at all times.

Competencies

• Flexible to work any shift from Sunday to Saturday.
• Knowledge of safe use of cleaning agents and equipment.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to interpret bar graphs, compute rate, ratio, and percent.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• EPA 608 Type II certification, CPO, or local city/state certificates as required.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• EPA 608 Type II, CPO, or local city/state certification.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This role operates in a professional office environment with travel between properties in varying weather conditions. Physical demands include climbing stairs, traveling outdoors, and exerting force to lift or move objects up to 100 pounds.
