Job summary

LyvWell Apartments is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a high-complexity multi-unit property in Oakland. You will supervise staff, diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues, and coordinate with contractors to secure bids and manage repairs.

The role requires hands-on maintenance and team leadership. You will ensure safety, quality, and reliability across building systems while coaching staff and maintaining open communication with property

Qualifications

• 3–4 years: Commercial or multi-unit property experience
• Computer and smartphone literacy required; English communication in writing and speaking

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates maintenance staff and daily work orders
• Diagnoses and repairs mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues
• Interacts with contractors and vendors; requests bids and reviews bid specs
• Trains, coaches, and provides performance feedback to staff
• Ensures safety, quality, and compliance across the property
