Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee and perform tasks ensuring buildings, grounds, and common areas meet company standards. You will handle work orders, make-ready duties, and safety compliance on-site at Greystar communities.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, hands-on maintenance experience, tool proficiency, and strong customer service skills. A valid driver's license and EPA HVAC certifications are preferred; a robust benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools and know safe use of tools and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and perform routine maintenance.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units, schedule vendors, and inspect work.
• Develop standards for grounds, exteriors, and common areas to meet Greystar quality.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors for quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and manage supplies within budget.
• Assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects; support cost-control efforts.
• Conduct safety meetings and keep OSHA and MSDS up to date; ensure community compliance.
• Interact professionally with residents and team members to resolve issues promptly.
