Job summary

KBR is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Jacksonville, FL to plan, organize, and lead day-to-day maintenance of light/medium wheeled vehicles. You will set production standards, monitor performance, and mentor staff while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Associate’s degree and/or BS coursework in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 8 years of related work experience including 2 years in a motor transport supervisory role.
• Must have completed motor transport maintenance officer course or equivalent.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to review technical specifications and forecast spare parts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanics performing automotive maintenance and repair of light/medium wheeled vehicles.
• Ensure equipment readiness and maintain maintenance shop organization.
• Instruct and train staff in maintenance functions and safety.
• Plan work sequences based on priorities and available resources.
• Coordinate with other departments to align maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulations.
• Maintain inventory of repair parts and requisition replacements.
• Lead process improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
• Oversee workspace administration for motor transport equipment repair.
